Case Study

The Situation: Two real estate leaders had a great idea to launch a minority asset management company during the nationís worst housing crisis. Their vision: To position bank foreclosures as affordable housing for minority and first-time buyers. Though they had name recognition in the multicultural market, they were unknown players in REO.

The Strategy

On behalf of the client, Phase Two Communications developed a series of trade opinion editorials presenting the clients thought leadership on REO management. Because the ideas were new and different than anything else in the default market, their commentaries were picked up. Leveraging their multicultural real estate market leadership roles, new strategic business alliances and product offerings helped raise the firm to brand prominence in the default services market.
